Christmas & New Year in the House!!!

The nights may be drawing in but we think it's a good chance to dust off the fairy lights, bring out the glitter and celebrate all the good things you can do inside, so, why not warm yourself up with a trip to:

- the festive frolics and winter warming songs of our feel-good Christmas Cabaret

- the carnival celebrations of our Christmas show Carnival Child

- lots of fun and interesting workshops from writing and creative music to lantern-making.

And don't forget, although we close for Christmas for redecoration we're here to give your spirits a lift in the New Year with a brand new programme of art, performances and classes.

With very best wishes for the festive season
From all of us at the House.

Watch our website for extra news and information.

And a friendly reminder…

Since last January 65,000 people have crossed the threshold at Lauderdale House – to attend concerts, to take part in creative activities, to learn something new, to get married, to celebrate birthdays, to perform and exhibit their work, to simply have a coffee, to relax and to enjoy their heritage.

We’ve also touched the lives of people outside the House - children at Great Ormond Street Hospital and young people in Highgate Newtown and Castlehaven have worked with professional artists to discover their own talents. And we cheered up the concrete wasteland at Jack Taylor School for children with severe and profound physical and learning disabilities, by enabling them to work with artists to decorate and bring colour to transform their environment.

And we have almost 50 very special people who make an annual donation to our Friends Scheme, and whose contribution makes a real difference to what we can achieve. But we need more!

Costs continue to rise and maintaining a 424 year old building is always a challenge. Would you consider becoming a Friend of Lauderdale House for a minimum donation of £25? It will make a difference and you too will help touch the lives of others.

All you need to do is send us a cheque payable to Lauderdale House, Highgate Hill, Waterlow Park, London N6 5HG together with your full name, address, telephone number and email address (if you have one).
