Journeys - Primrose Hill

Journeys - Art Exhibition by Emma Loizides

This is an exhibition of a variety of places and holiday memories created by local artist Emma Loizides. The paintings catalogue her journey as an artist so far from her more abstract work – to the more recent studies of London Town. There are around 50 paintings on display, including different subjects from ice cream vans to rubber rings and street scenes of London, Cuba & the USA. They include bright and colourful reflections of summer holidays over the last few years.

Emma is based in Muswell Hill, North London, a self-taught artist who has been painting for several years and exhibited in several group and solo shows. Her inspiration comes from travels, the sky, sunsets, music, architecture and colour. As well as well known artists Jasper Johns, Peter Blake, Robert Delaunay and Wassily Kandinsky – to name a few!

There will be lots of original works in oils, acrylic and mixed media, limited edition prints, plus the opportunity to purchase some of Emma’s earlier work at a discount price.

The exhibition is at historic Lauderdale House, set in beautiful Waterlow Park in Highgate, and will run for 4 weeks. For more information about the venue and how to get there visit
