Pride in the House
Lauderdale House is now inviting new submissions from UK-wide lesbian and gay professional artists for the eleventh annual ‘Pride in the House’ exhibition, running from Wednesday 7 August until Sunday 18 August 2013.
Deadline for submissions: Monday 8 July 2013.
Pride in the House grew out of the first Mardi Gras Arts Festival celebrating gay and lesbian artistic talent held at Lauderdale House in 2002, and we are delighted that we are able to further its legacy. Now in its eleventh year the Pride in the House 2013 exhibition hopes to repeat its success. Gay and lesbian artists are invited to submit work so that they may have the opportunity to exhibit in a group show that celebrating the artistic talent of the gay and lesbian community. A panel of independent judges will select a number of finalists, and an overall winner who will be awarded a free solo show at Lauderdale House later this year.
